Garhwal Himalayan (Adventure) Explorations takes you there to experience all that on a day trip to Raja Ji National park. Situated on the foothills of Himalayas on the banks of Ganges, this the biggest national park in Uttaranchal.

In all 49 species of mammals belonging to 42 genera in 21 families and nine orders have been reported . According to census done in 1999 there are 445 Elephants , 32 tigers, 177 leopards besides thousands of other wild animals in the park.
Best time to visit the park is 15th November to 15th June.
Wild Life Encounter- Day trip to the Raja ji National Park:
A pleasurable 19kms drive takes you to Chilla, the core zone of the National Park – an interesting animal habitat on the account of its location at the meeting point of the lesser Himalayan Foothills and the vast Indo Gangetic plains. One can encounter a great variety of migratory and domestic birds along the Ganges. Arrive Chilla and ride the Jeep through the core zone of the park. . Later we go for Elephant ride to encounter wild animals. We also take breaks for light lunch and tea. Before sun sets, we drive back to Rishikesh.
Cost Rs. 3333 Per person.
(The cost is based on minimum 4 persons traveling together. Incase of less then 4 persons there will be a supplementary cost )
The Cost Includes: Toyota / Sumo jeep for the entire trip, Good English Speaking Guide, Lunch with bottled water, Tea, Entrance fee of Rs. 350 Per Person, Elephant ride and taxes for the jeep.
Wild Life Experience : Overnight trip
Day 01 : Rishikesh/ Chila.
Morning drive to Chilla. Arrive Chilla and check in to Gujjar Huts of GMVN. After lunch explore the river side of Indo Gangetic planes, the venue of migratory and domestic birds. Late afternoon we ride the elephant to spot the wild life. Diner and overnight Gujar Huts.
Day 02 : Chilla / Rishikesh
Early morning proceed for a jungle walk along the Ganga river to encounter wild life in the park. Optional Elephant ride can be taken in the morning. After breakfast ride the jeep to explore the park. We drive back to Gujars hut for lunch. After lunch, late afternoon we drive back to Rishikesh . Tour terminates upon arrival at Rishikesh.
Cost : Rs.4444 per person.
The Cost Includes : Twin sharing accommodation in Gujjar huts/Dleuxe rooms in Tourist Bunglow Jeep for the entire trip with all the taxes and entrance fee, elephant ride, Services of Good English speaking guide, All vegetarian hygienic meals from day 01 .
Lunch to 2nd day lunch Entrance fee Rs. 350.00 per person etc.
The Cost Does not Include : Items of personal nature, Camera fee etc. (Some time due to higher Government Officials or politicians visit the elephant ride is not possible. In that case we will be happy to give extra jeep ride or refund the actual cost of Elephant ride.
